Creating a home that supports the way you want to live

Your home should work for you - not make everyday life harder.

When clutter builds up or household organisation becomes difficult to manage, even simple everyday tasks can start to feel overwhelming.

Finding what you need, keeping spaces accessible, managing your belongings or maintaining household routines can all become challenging.

At Empatia Home Edit, I provide practical, compassionate and person-centred decluttering and organising support to help make your home easier to navigate, use and maintain.

How I can help

My role isn't to come into your home and decide how everything should be organised.

It's to listen, understand what matters to you and work alongside you to create spaces and systems that suit your needs, abilities, routines and lifestyle.

Together, we'll focus on the areas that are making everyday life more difficult and find practical ways to make things more manageable.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach, and you remain in control of decisions about your home and belongings.

Together we can

Depending on your needs and goals, I can help with:

Decluttering and organising

  • Sorting and organising personal belongings.

  • Making frequently used items easier to find and access.

  • Creating practical storage systems.

  • Organising kitchens, wardrobes, bedrooms and living spaces.

Everyday household organisation

  • Creating simple routines and systems to manage belongings.

  • Organising paperwork and household information.

  • Reducing unnecessary obstacles and clutter in everyday spaces.

  • Making spaces easier to use and maintain.

Life changes and transitions

  • Preparing for a move or change in living arrangements.

  • Unpacking and organising a new home.

  • Establishing practical systems in a new living environment.

The aim is always to make your home work better for you, in ways that are realistic and sustainable

A judgement-free space

You don't need to feel embarrassed about the state of your home before getting in touch.

I understand that managing a household isn't always straightforward, and that sometimes even knowing where to begin can feel difficult.

There are no expectations of a perfect home and no pressure to get rid of belongings you're not ready to part with.

We'll start where you are, work at a pace that feels comfortable and focus on progress rather than perfection.

Working with you and your support team

I can work directly with you, independently on agreed organising tasks, or alongside family members, carers and other members of your support team, depending on your needs and preferences.

Where appropriate and with your permission, we can work together to understand your goals and create organising solutions that complement your existing supports.

Your choices, privacy and independence remain central to the process.

NDIS funding and enquiries

I welcome enquiries from self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants, as well as family members and support coordinators.

Whether professional organising support can be funded through an NDIS plan depends on the participant's individual disability-related support needs, goals and funding arrangements.

We can discuss the support required and whether my services may be suitable before making any arrangements.

What matters most

An organised home isn't about everything being perfectly tidy.

It's about being able to find what you need, move around your home more comfortably, manage everyday tasks more easily and feel more confident in your space.

Most importantly, it's about creating a home that belongs to you and supports the way you want to live.

Let's talk about what you need

If you're an NDIS participant, family member or support coordinator looking for practical home organising support, I'd be happy to have a conversation.

We can discuss what's happening in the home, the goals you'd like to work towards and how I may be able to help.
